No new textures, no new .mdl's no .qc, just a standard, old-fashioned map. I was going to make a little storyline, but who cares about stories anyway? It is based loosely on the "metal" textures theme with much of my own, new style of architecture. I also tried to add some elements that I have not yet seen in a Quake level. There are 6 secrets, some easy-some hard, and although not specifically designed for deathmatch, there are some DM spawn spots scattered about. Enjoy... It will not detract from play, but it is ugly as hell and I MUST get rid of it. Also, some of the monster and item placement needs to be re-worked so that it is not too hard on hard or too easy on easy...see below. Because this takes SEVERAL DAYS, I may not get around to doing it for another week or so...so until then, enjoy it. It is fully playable, although it is not fully deathmatch compatible YET, I plan to make it so for its final release. I also plan to change some monster placement. When you download the final release, the .bsp file will have the same name, so you may (as it is intended) overwrite this beta with the final release. Installation: Nothing special, just unzip in quake/id1/maps. To start the map from the command line: quake +map bnt To run the map from Quake: use the console (`) and the command "map bnt". ================================================================ Copyright and Permissions Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
