I don't know where you got the above quote. But, this is what I REALLY said: "it certainly isn't because I am doing it opposite handed. My advice, (having been at the same point as you) is forget about the scotch tape and rubber bands. Go for the real thing. In a month or two you won't know the difference anyway. And it will be one less thing to worry about :-)" How about learning to edit, or quote? Perhaps the 2 lines about Scotch tape & rubberbands, were invisible to you? > I still want to get my CH coolie hat up to TM FCS spec. can somebody > tell me what the resistance values are for different FCS coolie hat > positions? I can't believe you haven't gotten those values yet! You could try calling TM's REPAIRS or CUST. Support. Good luck. With or without Scotch tape & rubberbands. Say there... You are not pissed about that Scotch tape & rubberband thing. Are you? I guess I would be too :-) > > Cheers and Happy Thrustmastering @B^D Ditto... Greg "JAGUAR" Cisko ------------------------------- From: em440093@rsm16.cem.itesm.mx (Aaron Reynaldos) Subject: F3 updates. Hi everybody! I've been reading about the different patches and upgrades for F3. I have Falcon 3.00 (no OFT nor MIG29), and I want suggestions about which upgrade should I download and where to find those files. BTW, if anybody knows where to find the SH games here in Mexico, I'd like to know also. Thanks. Aaron. ------------------------------- From: Ed Totman Subject: uncontrolled pitch >As a matter of interest I've also found that I sometimes loose pitch >control approx. 10 seconds after take off. I fixed this problem by unloading a few bombs, even though I was already _under_ max gross weight. I wouldn't advise going vertical on takeoff with a full load, especially when leaving a field located close to the enemy. You would be one big, slow SAM magnet! :) Ed Totman etotman@gort.ucsd.edu ------------------------------- From: Michael Christie Subject: F3 New Zealand/Australia/Australasian Network Meeting? Having just read the competition resuts posting for the first European F3 net work meeting (comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.flight-sim) I couldn't help but think how much fun it sounded. So if anyone's interesting in doing something similar 'down-under' (or is already doing something about it) let me know and we'll try and sought something out. Mike. Ironically enough, I had a devil of a time with the install program; it kept crashing on me... BTW, does anybody know if SH did the usual and invalidate all the previous file formats with the upgrade from 3.04 to 3.05? I have the 3.05 upgrade, (ftp from onion.com, I think) and I want to know if I will still be able to cheat with the campaign editor I have now. Does anybody know WHY SH keeps changing the formats between versions? It's really annoying. You'd think they would include some kind of conversion utility....
