(5) is slightly more subtle.. Perhaps setting optimum trim for >current spd/alt/att'd? If anyone _knows_ for sure, I'd appreciate the info. I'm glad somebody likes the trim contros as much as I do. The more I fly the MiG-29, the more I like it. The (5) and (*) keys are not described in the manual; however, they are described in the readme fiile (MGREADME.TXT). Basically, the (5) key immediately applies enough trim to keep your aircraft flying straight and level AT YOUR CURRENT SPEED. If you are accelerating or decelerating when you press (5), your aircraft will quickly fall out of trim again. I usually use (5) to approximately trim my aircraft, and then use the up or down arrows to fine-tune my trim until my airspeed stabilizes. The (*) key is useful when you have applied a lot of trim (example, to maintain level flight at a very low airspeed), and want to get rid of it all quickly. The (*) key resets the trim back to neutral. Good luck, Comrade. ___ _ | __\_\_o____/_| ,---------------------------, <[___\_\_-----< ------------| ++don; | | o' `---------------------------' ------------------------------- [[ End of digest Volume 4 : Issue 70 ]]
