What exactly does "The Pilot's Edge" give you? Could someone break it down for me? -John ------------------------------- From: knutson@mcc.com (Jim Knutson) Subject: New records just set/broken The following new overall and hi-fi records have been set: Pete Williams, sustained alt: 69,996 ft., 30% Jim Knutson, 3000m (9,843 ft.) Time to Height: 33 seconds The new record data has been uploaded to onion.rain.com as record02.zip. I also created a 100km closed circuit speed course, but have not included it. My trial run on it yielded an 8 minute (~300K) VCR file. Record attempts would undoubtedly be faster/smaller, but the files will still be rather large. My question to you is how do you feel about the 100, 500, and 1000km closed circuit speed records? Is it worth the long flights and large VCR files? Personally, I don't even think Falcon could record an entire 1000km VCR file, and 500km still seems long (30 - 40 minutes).
