(that's the good news) I don't know where they are! (that's the bad news) A while back, someone posted to this list with the subject of 'naked bodies'. He gave coordinates, and I looked, and could find no naked bodies, but found ships. I rekon it was about 3-4 weeks ago. I tried to find the article, but no luck, but they might not be so hard to find. They're a few miles to the west-southwest of the northwest tip of the main island in the theatre. Hokaido? Anyway, I think you could pick them up on your SEA radar. longjohn [[ From the archives... (Grep is your friend. -) From: garton@jeeves.UCSD.EDU (Simon Garton) Subject: naked bodies .... It is nearly impossible to lock on helos using HFR, and you lose lock a lot on enemy aircraft as well. This is due to two things. First, the enemy use ECM effectively. This also happens when you are using SAD and SAM radar modes, but due to the second reason, you don't notice it as much. The second reason is that both SAD and SAM modes constantly (i.e. many times a second) try to maintain the lock. This is much faster than a user could ever hope to try to keep locking using manual control in HFR. The only thing you can do at this point is exit the fight or turn off the radar, close to IR missle or gun range and make a knife fight out of it. On Falcon and notebooks, I've tried it and it's NOT something I would recommend. The problem has to do with not being able to plug in a joy stick. This forces you to fly with the keyboard, and the layout of the keys on the keyboard is terrible for use with flight simulators. For instance, my Compaq has the arrow keys arranged as: ^ < > v with the spacing between the keys making it nearly impossible to use.
